There was a small island just a bit further from the city, there were many broken cars and plastic bags. It was like a trash dump for the place, which meant there were sure to be many pieces of plastic in the ocean floating around near there. That also meant any plastic floating in the ocean could end out harming marine animals living near there. So that day, I decided to travel to the small island to try to clean things up there, but it took much longer than I ever thought it would. There was an unbelievable amount of plastic there.
